Essential Qualifications:-
Graduate Degree from a recognised University/Institution
PG Diploma or equivalent in Mass Communication from a recognised University/Institution.
At least 15 years of experience in overall video production and channel management in a reputed channel/production house.
Desirable:- Produced popular science and technology-related programs in English and Hindi for any TV/FILM Channel, Organisation, etc, and requisite skills of planning, execution, and delivery of desired no of programs as per channel requirements.
Project Manager Content(English):01
Essential Qualifications:-
Graduate Degree from a recognised University/Institution
PG Diploma or equivalent in Mass Communication from a recognised University/Institution.
At least 8 years of demonstrable Output Desk experience in a TV/Film channel with strong scripting/ writing and conceptualization skills in English in subjects related to science, technology, environment, etc. (Research papers do not qualify as exhibits).
Impeccable (demonstrable) standards with written English grammar, editing, composition, vocabulary and pronunciation is an absolute MUST.
Desirable:- (i) Produced science and technology-related films and programs in English for any TV/FILM Channel OR written science and technology-related articles in popular publications.
Project Manager Editorial (Hindi):01
Essential Qualifications:-
Graduate Degree from a recognised University/Institution
PG Diploma or equivalent in Mass Communication from a recognised University / Institution.
At least 8years of demonstrable Output Desk experience in a TV/FILM channel or national newspaper with strong scripting / writing and conceptualisation skills in Hindi in subjects related to science, technology, environment etc. (Research papers do not qualify as exhibits).

Project Manager Operations- Content (Engage With Science):01
Essential Qualifications:-
Graduate Degree from a recognized University/InstitutionPG Diploma or Equivalent in Mass Communication or Public Relations from a recognized University/Institution.
At least 8 years of demonstrable experience in a reputed media organization or PR firm with strong communication and engagement skills in English.
Desirable:- (i) Should have organized events and workshops involving students and/or youth on specific topics and themes. (ii) It should have been associated with the production of films and programs in English for any TV/FILM Channel.
(iii) The candidate will be required to look after the Engage platform and liaise with schools and institutions, organize on-site TV/Film shoots, studio recordings with teachers and students and coordinate the functioning of the Engage platform in every way.
Project Asst Manager Editorial (English):01
Essential Qualifications:-
GraduateDegree from a recognised University/Institution
PG Diploma or equivalent in Mass Communication from a recognised University / Institution.

At least 5 years of demonstrable experience in different facets of digital marketing of products/services with a strong knowledge of globally accepted success parameters and audience growth patterns.
Desirable:- (i) Should have a strong linkage with Science and Technology portals
Project Assistant Manager-Production (Video Editor):02
Essential Qualification:-
Graduate from a recognised University/Institution.
At least 8years experience in a mainstream TV/FILM channel/ mainstream ad agency as a Video Editor with demonstrable expert level proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro. (Web Portal Experience not permissible). Must have in-depth knowledge of VFX, SFX, and all other latest practices in the world of video editing. Must have produced documentaries and promos for a TV/FILM channel.
Desirable:- i) A Graduate Degree in a Science subject
ii) Industry Diploma in Video Editing from a recognised / reputed institute of not less than 1 year duration.
iii) Would have produced programme montages for TV/FILM channels.
Note: This position may have a video editing test as a qualifier.
Project Asst Manager Production (Graphics Designer 3D):02
Essential Qualification:-
Graduate from a recognised University/Institution.
Diploma / PG Diploma / Advanced Diploma in 3D Graphics Design from a recognised institution.
At least 5-8 years of post-Diploma experience in 3D graphic designing for TV/FILM channels / portals / video production houses / ad agencies.
Must have demonstrable creative visualization skills and good command over basic grammar and spellings in Hindi and English
Desirable:- i) A Graduate Degree in a Science subject
iii) Would have worked for a TV/FILM channel.
Note: This position may have a video editing test as a qualifier.

- 8. Documents in support of qualification, experience, and age, etc. have to be produced in the original if called for interview.
- 9. Though, maximum age limit is prescribed against each post, emphasis will be to select young professionals for the project. Director, Vigyan Prasar may relax age and experiences in case of the candidates otherwise found suitable.
- 10. In case of false or insufficient information / lack of proof to ascertain the eligibility of the applicant, their candidature can summarily be rejected at any stage of the selection process.
- 11. Mere fulfilment of criteria and submission of applications shall not confer any right to be called for interview / selection. No further communication in this regards will be entertained.
- 12. Call letters and intimations relating to this recruitment will be sent to shortlisted candidates by e-mail only. Applicants should ensure that the e-mail ID given in the online application is maintained active. Considering the prevailing scenario, the candidates may require to undergo skill test and interview on online platform as decided by Vigyan Prasar.
- 13. The appointment against the above positions will be purely on temporary basis initially for a period upto November 2020. The contact may further be extended in line with extension of the project period and also on the basis of performance of the candidate. The professional fee will however be governed by the new extended project sanction in case of extension beyond November 2020.
- 14. The monthly professional fee payable for contractual positions shall be determined on the basis of applicants’ expertise, experience and professional standing.
- 15. Vigyan Prasar reserves the right to cancel /withdraw /postpone this recruitment notice.
- 16. Rules related to working hours/leave/increment etc will be applicable to all selected candidates as per norms determined for the Project.
- 17. Engagement of professionals will be on full time basis and their place of work will be New Delhi/ Noida.
- 18. Canvassing in any form shall lead to immediate disqualification.
- 19. No TA/DA shall be paid for appearing in Skill test /Interview.
