Director(Planning & Projects )
JOB DESCRIPTION AND RESPONSIBILITIES:-
Director (P & P) is a member of the Board of Directors and reports to the Chairman and Managing
Director. He/ She is responsible for planning including Manpower, Equipment and Systems, programming & scheduling & formulation of mining & power projects as well as expansion schemes, project scheduling & formulation of mining & power projects as well as expansion schemes, project monitoring & co-ordination.
He/ She also functions as Head of the Internal safety organization, environment, pollution control &
R&D programs, Contracts, and Purchases. He/ She is Head of NLC’s consultancy wing
(domestic/foreign) and he/ she is also responsible for preparation of Annual Plan, Five-year plan
and Working group proposals.
QUALIFICATION:-
The applicant should be an Engineering graduate with a good academic record from a recognized University/Institution. Applicants with MBA qualification will have an added advantage.
EXPERIENCE:-
The applicant should have at least five years’ cumulative experience in planning and management of projects during the last ten years in an organization of repute. Experience in Power/Mining Sector is desirable.
